Utiliser l'ATC sous X-Plane...

• Avoir désactivé Xsquawkbox.
• Avoir activé l'ATC dans settings>sounds
• Avoir "Return <none> sim/operation/contact_atc" dans XPlane keys.prf (Output/Preferences). La commande Return n'apparaît pas dans settings>Joystick &Equip
• Être sur un aéroport où il y a une fréquence radio ;)
• Et avoir réglé la bonne fréquence sur sa radio !

• All interactions with the air traffic control occur via the on-screen ATC menu. To access this menu, simply press Enter (Return) on the keyboard [voir plus bas pour assigner des boutons à cette fonction...]


• As in the real world, any ATC interaction begins with filing a flight plan. Thus, the first time you press Enter during a flight, the only option available will be “File Flight Plan.” Click that line of text to display the Flight Plan dialog box (shown in the image to the right).You must enter your departure and arrival points, in the same ID format as the points appear in the X-Plane maps, as well as your planned cruising (enroute) altitude. Pressing the File button will register your flight plan with the X-Plane air traffic control.

Shortcuts ATC...

Assign a button on your joystick to: sim/operation/contact_atc
Then prees the button to call up the contact atc window, the 1st time it should show file flight plan, just press the same button to select that option, file the flight plan as normal using the keyboard. Then tune COM1 to CLR DEL or TWR as normal, then press the button you have assigned and Request Taxi should be highlighted, press same button to send request, press same button to acknoledge, press same button to send readback ect. ect.
If you have a number of options on the atc window just use another button assigned to up and one to down (or use arrow leys) if your short of buttons.
